To help make your photoshoot as successful as possible, here is a chronological checklist we recommend you follow.

1 day before

Call or message & introduce the point of contact at the property before the day of your shoot to confirm the time that you will be at the property and that they will be there to meet you.

Upon Arrival

  • Introduce yourself to the host.
  • Ask host if there are any areas or anything that they do not want you to shoot.
  • If there are amenities (e.g swimming pool, gym, BBQ pit), ask host if these amenities are available to guests.
  • Walk around the property to plan shoot and flow of shots from room to room. Put yourself in the shoes of the guest & take shots that reflect how the guest would enter & move from room to room.

During the shoot

Also note of details that make the space unique & do a straight-on shots of them without tilting your camera lens.

Ensure that you have at least 25 photos covering all areas i.e. living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, dining area, balcony, garden, amenities, etc.
